| This is a unique, Macintosh based, particle physics simulation program. It allows the user to observe the trajectories of particles in the particle chamber under the influence of electric and magnetic fields. The interface provides many controls to the user, including the field strengths (which can be changed and effect observed real time) and the 3D view parameters. This is a very functional and user friendly program and can be used to present complicated particle physics concepts to a beginner. The author of this software has included some theory in the help files, so you might expect to learn a formula or two. Excellent educational tool! |
