This 7x10 inches magnifying plastic sheet is basically a Fresnel lens. Great for optics / science projects, for reading or just fun. French Physicist named Augustin Fresnel invented this lens in 1822 to be used in lighthouses. The construction of Fresnel lens is quite interesting as it allows magnification just like regular glass lenses do but it can be as thin as paper!

Size: 7 x 10 inches Magnification: up to 4 times

Recommended for ages 5 and older.

Weight: 0 lb 2 oz ( 0.06 kg )
