This magnetic viewing film can be used to visually see the patterns of magnetization. Magnetic viewing film is made of millions of tiny magnetic flakes suspended in clear oil. The oil is then sandwiched between two sheets of clear plastic. Notice how in the image one can see how the regular ceramic disk magnet is actually multi-polar, i.e. it has several north/south stripes rather than just one north and one south side. Encased in plastic sheeting for continuous use. Great for science projects, this is a great addition to the classroom to get your students interested in magnetism!
