ASTRONOMY: Astroparticle Physics, Cosmology and the Early Universe, Large Scale Structure, Galaxy Clusters, Galaxy Evolution, Interacting Binary Stars (Cataclysmic Variables, Algols, Neutron Star and Black Hole Binaries)
Facilities:  Unlimited number of undergraduate scholarships(£1000 per year). Opportunities to travel: Physics with American Studies, French, German, and Spanish. English-language exchange programmes with Canada, Germany, and Sweden. Extended degree programmes (including a Foundation Year) for applicants with non-standard qualifications. Campus facilities include an exceptionally good library, a gym, sports halls, squash courts, soccer, rugby and cricket pitches, music practice rooms, numerous bars and cafes, and a range of shops. University-managed accommodation, mostly on campus, is provided for all new students who have firmly accepted our conditional offer.
