Question

Where do I find a list of metals with their heat expansion index?

Asked by: Shmuel Machbub

Answer

To find the coefficient of linear expansion which is used to determine the amount of expansion or contraction by a metal, look no further than the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics. You may find one at your local library, Chemistry/Physics departments or buy it at Amazon.com.
