Current student research projects include:
·Investigation of ultra cold atoms in a laser trap.
·Development of a novel, spin-polarized electron source.
·Study of low-energy electron scattering from molecules used in plasma processing.
·Simulation and study of tornados in a vortex chamber.
·Study of mechanical chaos.
Support for the research comes from a variety of sources including NSF, NASA, Research Corporation, local industry, and the institution.
